Polices:

It is my goal to be fair to all of my clients.  I realize that on occasion life's "unexpected turns" happen.  However, in my need to be fair to all of our clients we find it necessary for the following policies.

Cancelations

Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  If you are unable to provide 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.

No Shows

Anyone who forgets or consciously chooses to skip their appointment, for any reason, will be considered a "no-show" and will be charged for their missed appointment.

Late Arrivals

Your appointment begins at your scheduled time.  If you arrive late, I will determine if there is enough time remaining to complete your treatment.  Any necessary forms, (Client Intake Form) must be completed prior to your treatment beginning even if you have arrived late.

I respect how important your time is.  Please offer the same respect for my time.  Plan accordingly to arrive promptly and prepared to enjoy your treatment.

Expectations:  What to expect

If this is your first visit with Agape Therapeutic Massage, please arrive a few minutes early to fill out a Client Intake Form.  I will escort you to a treatment room to review the history form and ask any further questions that will assist in providing the best treatment plan for you.  Once your treatment plan has been established, I will leave the room while you undress to you level of comfort and lay on the table under the covering provided.  During your massage session you will be fully covered with a sheet and/or blanket, exposing only the area being worked as necessary for your treatment.  At Agape Therapeutic Massage we hold your privacy, comfort, and security e highest regard.  The therapist will knock before reentering the treatment room.

Communication is the key to receiving the most benefit from your Massage Treatment.   Keep in mind that it is very important to let your therapist know if he/she is using too much pressure or not enough.  We want to ensure that your service is most enjoyable and effective.  Questions are welcome anytime.  However, if you would like to remain quiet during your treatment, you certainly may.

As your session comes to a close, you will be given a few instructions for after care.  Then I will exit the room so you may get dressed.  It is important to take a few moments and get up slowly to allow your body to return to a more active state.  When you are dressed, please open the door to let me know you are ready.  It is recommended that you book your appointments in advance to reserve the time that suits you best.  It is important to drink plenty of water and keep hydrated.  Your system has had a workout.  It is not uncommon to feel a bit tender or stiff the next day but this should lessen within the first 36 hours after treatment.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call or text me.r All questions you may have regarding your treatment or homecare.  As stated above,  communication is the key to receiving the most benefit form your Massage Treatment.
